NX3, MP4 720 "good enough" ?
Ok pro's, whatya think here...Shooting weddings since 2008, started as SD, then HDV to tape and ingest at 1440X1080. Just upgraded to the Sony HXR-NX3 and shot a wedding at full res, 1080, 60p, 28mps. Naturally after importing I found a few new things to get used to. Since most brides don't event get a Blu ray, if we could interview the "average viewer", do you think they would notice between:
1080, 60i, 28mps on DVD and 720, 30p on DVD ? (and occasionally a Blu ray) I understand I would need to change my marketing from "Full HD" to "HD", but if I could save size, conversion times and lighter loads on my processor and the common client would not see the difference anyways, perhaps I would give it a try. |
