NX3 how to adjust shutter speed
Hello,
I have a new NX3 and for the life of me I can't figure out how to manually adjust the shutter speed. I have the main auto/manual switch set to Manual. I have the Iris, Gain, Shutter Speed all set to manual. I can adjust the iris by using the f/stop ring; I can adjust the gain using the low-medium-high switch. But nothing happens when I turn the SEL/PUSH/EXEC dial. I don't think it's a problem with the SEL/PUSH/EXEC dial because it works fine to dial in the menu settings. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! |

Re: NX3 how to adjust shutter speed
I pressed the reset button and now the shutter speed is working normally. Have no idea what setting was causing the problem.

Re: NX3 how to adjust shutter speed
Don't feel alone, mine did the same thing. I thought it was just me not fully understanding the new controls. I followed your suggestion and did a reset to get it functioning again. I suspect, since it has happened to both of us, that it is a bug in the camera code. Now to try and figure out what causes it to stop functioning correctly so that Sony can fix it.
