Hello - I will be shooting a stage show and wanted to know what settings you guys use for NX5

ASO White Balance indoor Gain 0 Master Black -3 Detail +3 Hope this helps |

My normal shoot is
Steadyshot off WB indoor This may change as lots of places now have LED lights with variable color temp so stage may have different color temperatures in different places. I have changed to leave my full stage XR500 in ATW I have a modified PP3 profile which sets Black to -3, and detail +3 Manual focus ( use expanded focus to set something just back from front of the stage in focus, then leave for the whole show. Peaking ON to check ) Gain switches set depending on what the lights will be like. For a dark show 0, +3, +9. . Bright show -3, 0, +3 Set gain limit for auto gain to +12 so that if things get really dark I can switch in auto gain and know it will go to max +12. Set button 2 for AE shift -2, and button 3 to spotlight ( if I need to go auto on anything these will be active ) Ron Evans |
