transferring SD files from nx70U
I get a series of mp files but when I string them together in Premiere Pro CS6 there is a sound glitch where each file joins with the next. I don't see a dropped frame. I am assuming that Sony's windows ingest software creates a contiguous merging of clips without this problem. Any thoughts on how to merge the clips on a MacBook Pro would be greatly appreciated. Re: transferring SD files from nx70U
Jim,
You are being neglected! I don't have a Mac, so I can't help directly. I'm assuming that this is with longer recordings that are being split because they reach the file size limit? You could try importing directly from Final Cut rather that just copying .MTS files. It's not a specific NX70 issue, so maybe ask about it in a specific forum for you editing software? |

Re: transferring SD files from nx70U
Jim,
I dont have CS6, but do have Macs and an NX70 - maybe you could try Clipwrap ( ClipWrap: Easy AVCHD and HDV conversion for the Mac) to convert the files direct from the card to Prores before you ingest them - this should link the files into clips. |
