Sony NX70 clips and FCP X
I don't understand why FCP X cannot recognise the AVCHD clips shot on the Sony NX70. The extension is .mts.
I've used Compressor to re-encode to Pro Res, but my God! it takes an awfully long time on a MacBook Pro. I would appreciate anyone's suggestion on how I can make this process quicker without me going to Adobe Premier which has no problems taking in the clips. Thanks. |

I use Clipwrap to rewrap .mts to .mov. I do it at the same time as pulling the files off the SD card.
