Size comparison: NX5U and NX70U
I'm debating buying one or the other, and thought I'd share some images of the size difference between the two. I'm likely going to get the NX5U, not the NX70U, mostly because the NX5U is so similar to the EX1 and Z1, two cameras I spent at least 3-4 years using.

Re: Size comparison: NX5U and NX70U
I know that Sony may introduce an NX5U replacement, but something like that won't ship until later this year, and I need something now.

What do you need the camera for?

A mix of corporate video, run-and-gun and commercials.

Yeah, the NX5U sounds like it'll suit your needs better. For that same amount, you could pick up an AF100 or a used FS100.
I like the 70 for the simple reason that it's waterproof. |

Re: Size comparison: NX5U and NX70U
70 is a little too small, plus no built-in ND filter. Canon, JVC and Panasonic are all great, but I've used four cameras almost exclusively since 2004, the Sony EX1, V1U, Z1U and DVX100A, but haven't used DVX since 2007. 100% EX1 since 2008, but the EX1R is over my budget, and the NX5U is great.
