date & time stamp at DVinfo.net

Anyone know how to call up the date and time of day stamp on the video once in the editor. It doesn't appear in my editor - Edius.

In Edius go to " user settings ", > Preview>On Screen display> "select Source Information and set recording date ( 2 lines). Check the "show Normal Edit source information box and "show trim Source information box. This will overlay the date and time on the preview display. Or on the output if you want.

This will display the date with the time underneath. For the NX5 this will appear for every i frame I think. For the other Sony AVCHD cams it is continuous.

You can use the view selection to position the display anywhere on the screen.
