NX5U in X Games Commercials
If you're watching the X Games, you'll probably see a few Ford "Octane Academy" commercials featuring their athletes (Tanner Foust, Brian Deegan) and some action shots. Several of the action clips were my work, shot with a Sony NX5U at 720p60. It's proving to be a very good camera for my uses.

Re: NX5U in X Games Commercials
They have the ad on YouTube now. The NX5U shots are Tanner Foust's Rockstar Fiesta Rallycross car (except the on-car, which is a GoPro) and Brian Deegan - all the truck racing. (Since I shoot at 60fps they made use of several slo-mo shots.)

Re: NX5U in X Games Commercials
Great looking stuff. On a side note, I have a two camera shoot tomorrow and, as DP, am tasked with matching up my NX5U with a HVX200. It's been a while since I used a 200 but this process proved one thing to me, that the NX5U is light years better all around than a HVX200. The advantages of P2 over AVCHD do NOT justify choosing the 200 over the NX5.
