AX-2000 SlowMotion test
This is a fast test of recording in slowmotion whith my AX-2000.
It was recorded in HD, batch-converted to MPG-2 SD (720x576) with Videostudio X4 and edited with the same program. There is no manipulation, color correction or speed variation. As comes from the cam, only cuts. Image quality (IMHO): 1.- HD = BAD. 2.- SD = Quite GOOD (from HD recording; from SD recording is AWFUL). 3.- Internet (352x288 or similar) = EXCELENT. With this highspeed record you can do excelent PANS and Travellins. |

Re: AX-2000 SlowMotion test
Looks like you were shooting in the 12 sec mode. There's less of a quality hit when you choose the 3 sec (=12 sec slo-mo) mode.

Re: AX-2000 SlowMotion test
I think there is only one record option on the AX2000.
The sizes are: - 6 seconds of recording time - 22 seconds of playback time - 63,3 megas I don't find any menu option more than that. |

Re: AX-2000 SlowMotion test
Is that right - I never knew. I have the NX5 and there's three time-spans for slo-mo, and the longer you film for, the greater the quality loss hit.
