WideScreen/Fisheye adapter Lens for Glidecam work
Just got the cams Fridayand haven't got to shoot much...trying to decide what adapter I need for glidecam work. I ran a .3 fisheye on the FX1 which looked great for crane-like shots...but at times for other shots was too much barrell distortion for my taste. I was thinking of a .6 W/A.. Curious as to what others are using...

Had to bump this post...
I'm thinking about getting WHV075 Wide Converter for the cam... Once again, anyone using a glidecam? ...will a .8 be wide enough? |

"This lens can be used up to 14x zoom. (Ideal for Panasonic AG HPX 171)"
-http://www.zunow.tv/Zunow-WHV-075.html I'm sure you aren't buying it for close up shots (well I would assume anyway), but you will not be able to get the most of the nx5's zoom if you need to. I would go for the Sony VCLHG0872K (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/598432-REG/Sony_VCLHG0872K_VCLHG0872K_Wide_Conversion_Lens.html) It comes with a matte box and filter holder, for just $40 more... so why not!! Also, that other one doesn't seem to have any reviews. I would be a bit weary of it, but that's just me. Hope this helps! |
