HDMI Monitor not displaying cam info
Hey,
I just purchased the Marshall M-LCD7-HDMI-B-CE6 monitor kit, and when I try to use it with the Nx5u, it will not display the info on the monitor when using the hdmi cable. It does show what the lens is seeing, the timecode, and does show the menu when I press the menu button, but it does not show the aperture, audio, battery, etc... Even if I use the rca cable (red/yellow/white) I do not get the display info, Before you tell me to check settings, here is what I have checked, checked, and rechecked: 1. Menu> Display set> Display output> all output 2. Rec/out set> video out> Output Select> HDMI 3. Rec/out set> video out> Sdi/hdmi/component> 1080i/480i 4. Rec/out set> video out> down convert type> Letter box (16:9) Thanks, Nick Popa |

Have the same issue with the AX2000 with that same monitor, or my Dell 23" external monitor ....

Look under the "DISPLAY SET" menu. Set "DISPLAY OUTPUT" to "ALL OUTPUT".

Thanks so much Adam, I didn't realize that would be an issue, I find that very strange that you can't use the marker and the monitor. But something's better then nothing!

Yeah, you're not the only one who's gotten tripped up by this little quirk...

another trick I learned is to put the nx5u on "expanded focus." Only the camera's LCD or viewinder actually expand but the external monitor will display all the info
