Actually the Sony HDR-AX2000 does indeed have a remote (LANC) jack.

True. I have an older LANC control from Varizoom that I used on my old PD-170. It works just fine on my AX-2000! Focus, zoom, etc. The LANC jack is labeled "REMOTE" and is located on the right side near the zoom rocker or right below the "Assign 7" or "Expanded Focus" button.
Enjoy! |

Thanks for the quick reply, I was looking through the manual for the word Lanc but could not find anything on the subject. I have a Manfrotto 521Proi so that will work perfectly?
