NX5 - I'd love a spirit level
The Z7 has a pretty crude electronic spirit level but even so it's a great help when you're holding the camera high over your head and looking up into the turned-down screen.
I've just had a play with Sony's Alpha 55 DSLR and this has a beautiful electronic spirit level that reacts to tilt and yaw and is incredibly sensitive. No more leaning verticals in architectural photography or sloping horizons in holiday shots Thing is I want this on my NX5's screen, I really do. Don't know why, but I find it very difficult to judge the camera's horizontal leanings when I'm trying to shoot over the heads of the crowd. tom. |

Yes there are a few things i would like on the NX5U from other Sony cameras too. I would like the spot focus from the consumer cameras as well as the level you mentioned. I have guides set up on a button so that I can switch on for setup on the tripod or if I am concerned about level or perspective during the shoot. With my XR500 on a Sony tripod this guide function is on a button on the tripod.
