Been away: Whats new with NX5 since 2.0 upgrade in June? at DVinfo.net

We actually acquired an NX5 in early June, installed the 2.0 firmware update but then got pulled away on another project. Now getting it out just like we were a new owner and will be learning about it and catching up.

So hopefully some kind soul will help me catch up on what I missed while I was away.

Questions:

1 - any new firmware upgrades?
2 - any issues with the camera? How is it performing for others?
3 - I thought I read that you shouldn't connect the usb from the cams Flash Memory Unit directly to your PC and simply copy files... But instead you should install the Sony software to transfer the files. Is this true? Can you actually damage the camera or the flash drive unit by simply "copying" files from it to your PC ??
