CMU Software will not load

I constantly get a "no support devise detected". The computer is running xp pro with sp3. The computer does see the hard drive. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance,

Dano

ok. got it to load. it seems that i have a bad usb cable. now a different problem seems that you cant assign the media to go to the drive that you want it to. it defaults to the "my video" folder on the c drive. seems like a software error on sony's part. anybody know a work around? this would add lots of time to my work flow...
