Any IR problems with the sony 5u?
I am purchasing the sony 5u and wanted to know if it has the same infa red (cranbury blacks) problem my ex3 has. will i need to get another hot mirror, 72 mm i believe?

None. Sony does not have the issue on the NXCAM. The EX-1 is horrible, the EX1r is better, the nxcam is excellent.

Great. finally can save a few bucks. another question i have is....
is there a way to limit whats in the viewfinder. i find that is lets you choose either too much or too little. dano |

If you mean the data displayed in the viewfinder, there are a number of different settings. There are 3 display modes: everything, about half the stuff, and nothing (which still leaves on any guide frames you've picked).
