Reset to Factory Defaults, Detecting SD Card issues, Recording both HD & SD
I'm picking up my new NX5U tomorrow with the Sony 128GB Flash Memory Unit and have a few questions...
1 - Is it easy to reset it to factory defaults? (anybody know how?) (I like this feature because it is always nice to be able to get back to a known reference point as settings get changed on the fly.) 2 - How do I know there is a problem with a particular SDHC Memory Card? .. Will the camera notify me immideately that it can't write to the card .. or will I get back to the studio and just not find any files on the card .. or what? 3 - Any issues with recording both HD & SD at the same time? 4 - As I understand it you record HD to the Sony Flash Memory Unit and SD to the SDHC Memory Cards... right? Thanks for any help. |

1) On top control panel there is a small depressed button that you can press with a ballpoint pen or end of paperclip etc. to reset to factory defaults.
2) Depends on the problem. You can replay files on the cam so you should not have any mean surprises later on. 3) Not as far as I know. 4) I think you can do that either way around? Must check... |
