Should new NX5U buyer check for particular s/n's on new unit?
I read something about serial numbers somewhere on this forum... (someone suggesting that Mark Von Lanken check the s/n on an NX5U he was testing) and that made me wonder...
Should I request that the dealer check the s/n and not ship me an NX5U with a s/n before a particular number? Or, otherwise stated... were there any issues with NX5U's before a particular s/n? Thanks for any help. |

You can read on this section about "Buffer overflow" issue, the official Sony sites listed the serial numbers of the cameras who don't have the firmware update to fix the problem. If you receive a camera that is specified there, all you have to do is to install the new firmware.
