avchd files and cineform
Has anyone tried converting raw hxr-nx5 avchd files in cineform hdlink yet? I’m shooting 1920 by 1080 50i at 25 fps and converting into Avi format to then edit in Sony Vegas Pro 9. its saying no audio stream detected? I have the Ac3 encoder installed and restarted but nothing.
I have audio present, and can play from the Sony content management utility fine. its when i put it into vegas i dont have an audio track. am i missing something? |

I have the same problem when using Premiere Pro CS5. Seems like Cineform is not converting the audio correctly.

Here's what Cineform Support told me to do when I had the same problem with a Neoscene conversion to AVI (this didn't work for me and I then turned off the LPCM audio and the conversion worked okay):
Browse to the following folder: C:\Program Files\CineForm\NeoScene\ or if you are running a 64-bit OS: C:\Program Files (x86)\CineForm\NeoScene\ Then double click on the file called, ;mc_dec_mpa_ds.ax'. If windows asks you how to open the file, browse to: C:\Windows\System32\ and select 'regsvr32.exe' You should get a message saying that the file successfully registered.
