NXCAM match with EX1
these two are very similar, nxcam has a few more shooting modes, but lens/chips/layout is pretty much identical.
why the 500.00 difference? im wondering how well these would match up with the ex1r as a b cam. other than lowlight, they should be close. |

Nxcam
"I'm wondering how well these would match up with the ex1r as a b cam."
I'm hoping to find that out this week as I just received my NXCAM and the flash drive. Will be comparing it to EX1 and EX3 over the next couple of weeks. |

i believe that the nx5 will be the best cam for the money on the market, although the ex1r and ex3 are very great cams from what i have seen

Lens and chips are definitely not the same. EX1 uses full raster 1/2", NX uses 1mp 1/3". They are not in the same camera class.
