Vg 900 powered zoom lens at DVinfo.net

Has anyone an idea of the approx cost of the EPZ 18-200 POWERED ZOOM LENS will be (the lens thats on all the pics of the new 900 I want to try to get a total price for the kit. Thanks again Wilf.

I have seen that lens on the VG30 but not the VG900. Almost all of the photos of the VG900 had the 24-70mm F2.8 zoom on it.

Hi Joe thanks for that looked at the cost of VG 900 lens that lens is £1300.00 there is another lens with same dimentions thats £2000.00 don't know what the difference is ' do you know if any of the A lenses have a power zoom. I am going to BVE in Manchester on Wednesday hope to get some hands on and answers then. Thanks again Wilf. Been looking at those lenses again i presume one is an E mount and the more expensive one is an A mount lens please correct me if i am wrong.

The new Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Alpha E-mount Retractable Zoom Lens works well on the VG900 in APS-C mode and the VG900 has a powered zoom seesaw lever for variable and constant speed electronic zooming with it. Here are photos of my VG900 with the 16-50mm ( 24-75mm FF eqiv) PZ OSS lens with camera on and retracted with camera off.

I can vouch for this lens and there is actually one for sale on ebay UK at the moment! (item no: 221184089454) for anyone that is interested !
