Recommend good hard case for equip
I need a "hard case" to large enough to hold two camcorders (XHA1 and VG-20) plus NEX 5N and accessories to include lenses, batteries etc.
Plastic or metal. Im looking for a good price and good protection for equipment. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jeff |

Pelican 1620. Plastic.

Re: Recommend good hard case for equip
Good price and good protection rarely go together. Pelican cases are great and reasonably priced, I think they are still made in the USA and they hold their value. Check eBay and maybe you can save some green on a quality piece that will protect your stuff. In addition to Pelican cases, I have some SKB shells that I made custom interiors for using foam from a camping bedroll and rubber cement. But that was for tripods, stands, and lights not cameras. YMMV

Porta-Brace makes some hard cases that are a bit lighter than Pelican.
