VG20- at a School Play in SD
So I went to my granddaughters school play last night. At last moment, I was asked to bring a camera and shoot it because no one else had. I grabbed the VG20 camera and a tripod on the way out. Thought i remembered a 16 gig card in the camera. When I got there, I only had a 4 gig card.. I considered running back home, or sending wife, but decided to just shoot SD. The four gig card gave me about 57 minute. Just about enough for the play.
I was pleasantly surprised about how the video looked after viewing on the computer. Not bad, especially if you are going to SD DVD anyway. Posted some grabs below

Here is a clip uploaded from original footage. You should be able to download original footage if you want to see raw SD.

Thanks Chris...
Did you use the "kit" lens....and how far were you from the stage? Im sure you would have had to be really close with only the kit lens zoom. Jeff |

Kit lens from front row of a small theatre. Full wide for most of the show.
