Why why don't they?
Why doesn't Sony put the A7SII or A7RII into an EA50 type body, give it built-in ND and then just clean house?
The EA50 should have had ND to start with since it was a ground up design and they could have designed it that way. But back then only the FS700 and up got ND... Anyway, an A7 type EA50 would be amazing as a video camera and photo camera but much much better than trying to use an A7 as a video camera. The EA50 is so much better to use than most cameras for a number of type jobs due to it's form factor, XLR and ample real-estate for attaching things. Why don't they? How many people would buy it instead of the FS700R, FS5, FS7,FS7II? That's one reason. What do you guys think? If such a camera came out I think I'd sell most of mine and get a pair immediately. |
