Re: Firmware Emergency!!
I've never done it, but am wondering if you can shoot it PAL and convert later? I think some products provide that, e.g. Adobe Media Encoder, but I have little idea what problems that might present later on.
Good luck.

Is it not possible to download a earlier firmware version and install that?

Re: Firmware Emergency!!
Hi Randy
Are you 100% sure? Can you not go into the last menu and change from 50 to 60?? When I got my cameras they said PAL was the default factory setting. It seems that when you update firmware everything goes back to square one?? So do you lose profiles as well and would they revert to the factory ones?? Chris |

Yeah im an idiot! I got it I thought it just listed all the frame rates and modes I didnt see the one menu for 50ior 60i. I survived! On the maybe good side I shot a really long wedding without a buffer underrun error after the update. I am not saying its fixed but we will see:)
