Re: EA50 sound setup
Hi Serggio
I think you better post some more details before we comment. Are you using the internal mic/shotgun mic or what?? Check what your audio panel switches are set to and let us know. I personally never use the internal mic ..only the XLR channels and the shotgun is on Channel 2 ...Channel 1 usually has a wireless mic or simply nothing at all. You also need to be careful whether you need phantom power or not!!! Chris |

Re: EA50 sound setup
The two switches in the middle of the audio panel ... They are marked INT MIC or INPUT1 and the lower one is INT MIC or INPUT 2 ...Mine are at input 1 and input 2
On the left hand switches I have input 1 set to mic and input 2 set to MIc + 48v because the shotgun is plugged in there and needs phantom power. I leave AGC on most of the time and it works very well. I have a receiver plugged into Input 1 so if I don't use it I just record onto one channel and split it in the NLE ... for solo stuff the shotgun is usually plenty |

Re: EA50 sound setup
Hi Serggio
Put both switch to "auto" if they are on manual and AGC (it's actually ALC as it limits the level) is on. Just be careful if you have two lav mics close together ... one person talking can trigger the ALC on both channels so one channel might have a lower level ....ideally if you have controlled audio, manual is best ..ALC I used to use only at wedding receptions for the B-Cam where the sound level was always varying!!
