EA50 handbook
Just thought I'd post this EA50 handbook that I found on my travels:
http://pro.sony-asia.com/product/res...ndbook_web.pdf What I liked most of all is the easy to understand explanations of the picture profile settings. Hopefully someone finds it useful. |

Re: EA50 handbook
Awesome Jody!!
I had trouble loading it so I had to right click the link and save the PDF..then it was fine! Yeah the PP's are explained very well indeed. I'm interested to getting the hip support ... I have my own one modded from a CineCity one and they are a huge asset but the PDF says they are available from UN ...who is UN ??? Anyone know??? Chris |

Re: EA50 handbook
Thank you, the picture profile information is really great (I really couldn't find much info on Sony PP's anywhere)

Re: EA50 handbook
Good find. As a camera dealer it has always bothered me that Sony made no literature on this camera. There is nothing to pass out at trade shows and such on the NEX-EA50.

Re: EA50 handbook
It seems like the MogoPod doesn't allow camera vertical movement Chris ... Hip supports have a belt with a ball joint in the front and this connects to the camera front (under the lens hood) with a two section sprung rod so it keeps the length if you tilt up or down and still supports the front heavy camera.
I used one during dancing last Saturday and it really works well. You only realise how much support you get when you disconnect it and the real camera weight is felt ...especially after a LONG day!! Camtree make one for about $75 Mine uses the same rod but the end just sits in a nylon pouch on the belt so I have to use a mini ball head under the camera end Chris |
