I received awesome information from Torsten who has been Porting Abel cine profiles from the Sony fs100 to the Sony nex-ea50 so that they match much better, I just posted that info on my blog where you can check it out.

That's a good read.

I had a quick go on my EA50.

It seems as if I need to 'modify' one of the existing profiles and replace them and I can't add to the profile list? is that correct?

As far as I know you can't add profiles to the camera, just change existing ones. You can always get the original profiles back by resetting the camera.
