Matte Box to use with Prime Lenses

Hi Guys

Using a small prime on the camera seems to look silly and also the lens hoods are usually pretty tiny.

I saw the matte box below that doesn't need any rail system at all and should keep any stray light.

What do you guys use on primes ? Just the standard hood??

Chris

Re: Matte Box to use with Prime Lenses

I took the plunge a while back and ordered full matte boxes/rig etc from DV / HDV Camera Accessories. I was nervous at first as I couldn't find much info about them (based in India). Pricing was competitive and their gear is very well thought out. Follow focus gear works well too.
