Nikon to nex adaptor not fitting EA50
Hi guys. Been following the forum for a while, but this is my first post.
I just got my Nikon to Nex adaptor from dealextreme. Itīs a cheap Fotga adaptor with sort of an aperture controll on the adaptor, but it doesnīt show any increaments so I just have to look at the image to see how bright or dark i want it. It works ok with mye NEX-5R. But it will not fit my EA50. It seems that the EA50 has a thicker mount made of metall, and the e-mount on the NEX-5R is a bit thinner and made of more plastic parts. So just a heads up to folks wanting to add Nikkor lenses (or any adaptor for that matter) on the EA50, try the adaptor before you buy to see that it actually fits! |

Re: Nikon to nex adaptor not fitting EA50
I also bought a relatively cheap adapter to fit a Nikkor 50mm to my EA50. There is slight movement between lens and adapter, but I believe no light leaks. However, I now cannot remove the adapter from the lens...in my case that's OK, since the lens is for the EA50 only.
But maybe biting the bullet for a higher-end adapter would have been the better choice. |

Re: Nikon to nex adaptor not fitting EA50
I bought four nk-nex adaptors for the 20 and 50. (got one for test :) and all work without issue both on taking the adaptors off and ease of putting them on the 20 and 50. Very cheap - $17.00
