How to store and take care ?
Hi, I just bought a new EA50UH . I wanted to know, how do you guys store your camcorders ?
Is it same as we do for dslrs ? Put them inside the DigiCabi ?

Re: How to store and take care ?
I store all mine in Pelican cases with plenty of fresh Silicagel for the humidity. Keep the battery charged too.
Cheers.

Re: How to store and take care ?
How about the big Dehumidifying boxes , which we use for DLSRs and lenses ?
I guess, the same applies for camcorders as well ? Okay, if we store inside it ?

Re: How to store and take care ?
Mine are working too hard to be actually stored as such. However I avoid any closed up spaces (especially cupboards that can attract mould) My 4 cams sit on the shelf in fresh air and I have never had an issue.
I guess silica gel is a good idea if you only use your cams once a month ...mine are out daily so storing them for a few hours a day is pointless Chris |
