SD to CF Memory Card Adapter
A friend was telling me about the possibility of using an SD to CF adapter in the MRU. Has anybody tried this and how well did it work? Thanks.

Re: SD to CF Memory Card Adapter
I have a cheap SD to CF card adapter & it didn't fit into the MRC1 recorder. (I think this is a CF type I & type II, where one is thicker than the other.)
The biggest concern is the speed of the adapter & the SD card. If either of them is too slow, you could have massive errors in writing video. Bottom line, if it is cheap enough for you to try it out & no work, then try it out before you use it on a real job.

Re: SD to CF Memory Card Adapter
Thanks Zach:
Actually a friend of mine in town has ordered one. Once he's tested it I'll report back here. Lee

Re: SD to CF Memory Card Adapter
Yes. My friend did successfully use the SD to CF adapter. He said it was a tight fit and that was enough for me to decide it's not worth it for me.
