Canon broadcast lens control on Z7E
I have recently acquired a canon J17x 2/3 broadcast lens which seems to have a 12 pin lens control cable. Is there anyway this can be connected electronically to the Z7E lens contorl socket? I am having to use complet manual zoom and iris at present. if I can't then is there any problems taking the servo unit of the lens?

Re: Canon broadcast lens control on Z7E
At least Canon & Fujinon 1/3" lenses can plug into the lens port on the side of the camera.
I didn't know this existed for a while on my Z7. If you're using the stock lens, the handle covers up this port. Take off the Zeiss lens & near the front of the camera below the XLR connectors there should be a little "door" with a lens port behind it. Off hand, I'm not sure if it is 12 pin or what. If so, plug right into that. If not, contact Fuji or Canon & see if they make a short adapter cable.
