Z7 and fcp 7 at DVinfo.net

having just bought (not arrived yet and have a HDV job on the 22nd) a Sony Z7 i would like advice on transferring footage form the Card to FCP7....
do i need an extra plugin or can it go direst to FCP like the JVC i use to have

Hi John, Just saw your post go here -

Digital HD Video Camera Recorder - Memory Recording Unit

This will allow you to use Log & Transfer with your Compact Flash footage, but do note the preview area is not available for the M2T file transfer, which means you can't set In & Out points.

I have Contacted Sony & Apple and both blame each other, I have not found a method other than using mpeg streamclip or Clipwrap.
