Problem - can't film, blacked out
Was filming a wedding and everything was fine with my Sony Z7. Turning the camera on a short time later (without changing any settings), I am now not getting a record signal from the camera.
When I pull out the screen it is completely black and the Iris info value has lines instead of numbers. I did get a condensation error and it told me to turn the camera off for an hour. I let it sit overnight and the problem still exists. I turned it into record mode and the screen is still black. I put a tape in and it won't record either. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Geoff, I only recently got my Z7 back from Sony for the same problem with the iris info as lines and not allowing me to record, I however did not get the Condensation error.
It turned out to be my Lens? Sony fixed her and now all is fine. Hope this helped you. James |

I did try the reset button and cleaned the contacts on the lens, but I am still getting lines through the Iris info area and have no control over zooming / focusing.
