Can you record to only the memory card unit?
I have a Z7 and was under the impression you can record to just the memory unit without a tape. But i have tried several times and can not get it to work without the tape also running. Can't find what the correct settings should be to enable this. Does anyone know if this is achievable and if so what settings should I be using in the menu?

From the menu go to In/Out Rec... Ext Rec Ctrl... set to Ext Only.
