Compact Flash question
I have my S270 camera record format at 1080i HDV and when I record to tape I get 1440x1080 video, however with the same setting and I record to Compact Flash I get 720x480 video.
Am I missing a setting somewhere on the Compact flash settings? |

In the i-link set menu, set HDV-DV conversion to OFF.

That's what I thought but under the I link menu I have Auto- HDV- and DV and the HDV is grayed out and I can not execute the HDV setting.
The camera setting is at 1080i 60. |

It shouldn't be grayed out. Can you posibly reset the camera and try again? Must have some other settings that you have made, making it grayed out.

I found that I have to go into the VCR mode and then use my menu setting and set the in/out rec to VCR HDV/DV---HDV. After that it was no longer grayed out.
