Auto Knee setting definitions?
Does anyone know what Sony means by "Max Point" and "Sensitivity" in the "Auto Set" submenu of the Knee function on the Z7/S270? I understand how the knee function works, and can set the "Manual Set" functions, but the Auto Set definitions are baffling.

Dirk
Thanks for sending this great article. It didn’t specifically explain the Auto Knee terminology that Sony uses, but it had good info on setup for this function as well as the entire camera. Really appreciate your taking the time to send it. It will really help me out quite a bit. thanks Mark |

I own a z7 and shot dozens and dozens of tapes - but never used auto knee...
I dont know how sensitivity and max point (max knee point?) exactly work - but if you want to find out simply take a waveform monitor and see how a graded chart changes when using auto knee. for my needs I dont like any automatic to take control over the footage... uli |
