Cannot Record Still Images to Memory Stick
So I thought that I would post this since I was getting the error "Cannot Record Still Images to Memory Stick" today, I tried a couple different Memory Sticks, reformatted & still got the error.
I opened up the PDF for the Z7 & did a search for the error & nothing caught my eye. I looked at one of the sticks & saw photos on that stick that I had taken w/ my Z7. I knew that that stick should work & then it hit me... I ran into this before... I thought some more & I figured it out. For whatever stupid reason, the Z7 cannot record still images to the memory stick when shutter speeds are too slow. I had the shutter at 1/24, switched it to 1/60 & BOOM problem solved. I think this is a strange quirk that can be very annoying. I didn't see any other posts about it, so I thought I would share in case someone else ran into the same problem later on.

Getting photos is a little tricky. If you want a photo you have to be shooting in an interleaved mode. But there is good news. You can capture a photo from any mode during playback in the camera. When you come to the scene hit the photo button and it will be captured to the SD card, even in the true 24 1080P mode. Just adding to the info you provide. Harry
