sony z7/270 lanc question
At NAB I saw two Sony Brand Lanc controllers for the z7/270. Has anyone bought and tried either of the Sony lanc controllers with these cameras?
One of them had many controls and the small one was mainly zoom and focus control. My experience with lanc controllers is that they ramp up way to fast. No way the creep. Thanks Ronnie Martin www.dirtracingvideol.com

I used this with my PD170's and works fine with the Z7... nice controllable zoom and rec start/stop... focus manual/auto all with one hand.

those "full set" Lanc controllers are great - for example for boom operation.
Just be aware of one Lanc limitation: You can only change one parameter at a time. Anyway, thats an easy way to fully remote the z5/z7 Regards uli |
