Renting a z7 and worries about preserve it from shooting 1 day at the beach.Help !
Hola amigos, i need your help because next week i'm renting a Z7 because i have to film 1 entire day at the beach. There will be a basketball tournament at the beach from 9.00 a.m to midnight.I'm really scared about the moisture that could spot on my camcorder and now i'd relly appreciate if you'd give me any advice.I bought a few months ago a rain cover but i i think that is not that appropriate on that sunny day thiskind of case. Now i wanna ask you how to preserve the camcorder from the moisture.
Thx and sorry 4 my english MM |

Hi,
If you have a rain cover, I would definitely consider using it for the shoot. The only problem with a cover might be moisture condensation if the day is really hot and humid and you have a camera (which can run quite warm) covered with plastic. When shooting for 13 hours on a beach, I'd be mostly concerned with dust. A long shoot on a dusty beach would be the main reason I'd want to cover my Z7U. Really fine dust can get into everything.
