HV20 as capture deck
Greetings All
I am shooting a huge gymnastics meet this weekend and would like to capture as I go. question is can I use a HV20 to capture footage from my z7u shot at 30p? or do you think I should just shoot 60i? thanks jamie

I think fast action tends to look better in 60i. And if you intend to do any slo-mo's, they also look better if shot in 60i.

I use the HV30 all of the time to capture 30P footage shot on my Z7. I have never tried 60i because I don't usually shoot interlaced.

Canon HV-20 does not shoot or play back 30P, only HV-30 can do that.
