Your Z7 Rig?
I am going to purchase a Z7 , as soon as I sell my boat, but was wondering what you guys have done with this amazing camera. Can everyone here that has an Z7 show me a picture of their rig. I would like to see some test clips too please. If I am going to spend around 5,000 dollars I want to be sure of my purchase. Test clips and pictures PLEASE! Thanks.

Jonathan Richards, what type of battery power is that? Are you running camera & light off the same source?
Don't have any pics of my rig yet, but first story on this was shot w/ my Z7: Journalism Demo Reel on Vimeo |

Zach Love:
Yes, I power the top light from the camera battery. It's a system devised by Hawkwoods here in the UK i believe. DV Link Battery-System - Sony Z1/FX1/Z7/PD150/PD170 Works really well!
