Does anyone know what the difference is between 25p progressive and 25p scan, in the Sony Z7? and the CF only seems to capture 25p scan..? Has anyone else found this..

Doesnt seem to for what I am shooting which is mainly drama and doco's, it does still have a slight smear on fast pans but once it goes pro res 25p this makes it look filmic without too much smearing. The only other downside is that is loses one stop from a shutter speed of 50 and two stops from 25.

I think 25p progressive is recorded as a progressive signal where 25p scan is recorded as a interlaced signal.

I.E 1080p 25p
or 1080i 25p

Someone pipe up if I have got this wrong but I am sure that is the difference in the Z7
