1080 24p from Adobe CS3 -> Camera
So, I shot some stuff on 1080i 24p and edited using Premiere CS3.... now I plugged the firewire back into the camera and "export to tape" except "export to tape" is greyed out and I can't use that function... anybody else experience this?
I've already changed all the settings on my Z7 "VCR" mode to HDV Thanks, K |

you might have to enable it in Premiere
In CS2 and using Matrox RTX2/Premiere, if I want to export via DV-1394 I have to click on project, General, playback, and check export to tape, this should enable 1394 for export to tape

I looked into that and it doesn't even recognized that I have a deck connected... maybe I should try re installing CS3

Figured it out, the "i.link set" menu option on the Z7 needs to be set to "off"
