lens question Z7 - zoom focus controlers
I have looked in the literature and searched in forums but have not found the answer to this question ...
on the stock lens is there provision for using manual studio style zoom and focus controllers ... are there screw holes for the blocks ..... if so which ones fit ... or are they allowing only for electronic controlers . I don't see lanc listed in the specs or their new control like the Ex1 thank you in advance |

The Z7 has the pin setup in the front of the lens as expected. There is also a lanc input on the back of the camera.
The EX1 does not have lanc control. |

LANC controller for Z7
Does any know the best performance/cost LANC controller for the Z7 that they are happy with?

Hi Mike,
I've always used the manfrotto handle and been more than happy with it. Used with VX2000 / PD170 and now Z7 - all works great. Wouldn't work the EX1 due to different LANC requirements and added to the reasons why I chose Z7 over it. http://www.manfrotto.com/Jahia/site/manfrotto/pid/4137
