Viewfinder - coloured lines flickering
Using the Z7 viewfinder (not the LCD panel), I can see an odd effect as I glance around its image: the white guide lines and info text have a red green or blue trail or 'afterimage'.
It's not something I've seen on the EX1's internal viewfinder, nor the Z1. It's kind of distracting as instinct makes me glance back at it, but it's distracting because I've never seen this before. Is this just a 'feature' of the Z7 viewfinder? Do you see it? |

If you dig around in the manual, it says that its "suppose" to have that weird rainbow effect. I don't know why it does it, but its not recorded to tape that way.

I didn't know that they mentioned it in the manual - a friend and I work together a lot, I wanted a Z7 and he wanted an EX1, he ended up buying a Z7 and I now own an EX1, so we were comparing toys the other night - no manuals whilst we shared!
Glad it's 'just one of those things'. I guess not many use the viewfinder 'for real' anyway. |
