Very few HVR-Z7 clips to be seen.
I am seriously considering to buy this camcorder but I am wondering why thare are so very little video samples online compared to other camcorders, including the new Sony EX-1.
Can you indicate where I can see some more material besides the 2 clips on Vimeo and one on You Tube? Thanks. |

Good question. I've been using the cams for a while now, and with everything going on, I don't really have the 'time' to upload clips...perhaps that's the thinking of others, too...but I'll make a note and try to do that....

clips from Z7u
I so far behind in editing I don't have timeto post any, I'm still on weddings shot with FX1's. I have done 4 with the Z7U and when I get to them I will upload some short ones. If anyone has any to upload this site is free and has HD also. It's 1280X720 but still looks good. You can do a site for yourself. Here's the EX1 site http://www.vimeo.com/ex1
and my site http://www.vimeo.com/user419814/videos read the HD FAQ and it tell you the best way to upload HD. You can turn HD off and it plays SD. Looks very good in full screen. It would be a good place to show Z7U footage--Bruce |

Thanks Loren... I (and I'm sure, many others) look forward to watching your clips.

Clips
I'll be posting clips to Vimeo soon as well... will let you know when they're up.
Also, what's a good file-sharing site where I can make raw footage available to you guys? If I post M2T files on my website I'm sure I'll regret it when I get the bill! :) |

Progressive
Hi Keith - that was shot using 1080i/50 (pal camera). But all the stuff I do from now on will be in progressive as that's how the stock footage libraries prefer it for distribution. Ex's family huh? Not the cute little meetkat I'm betting???
