YES! Sony has stated that they are planning on selling the CF unit by itself. The question really is WHEN.

They also said they'd sell a Sony Alpha SLR lens adapter. I saw one at NAB on display. Haven't seen any for sale yet.

Ron & Robert, contact Sony directly & ask when they plan on releasing the CF recorder if you are really wanting to know that badly. )And if you find out, please post here so we can know).
