Outputs?
Is there a list of outputs on these cameras?
I saw a glossy-type write-up that says the output is HDMI only, but then I see talk here of iLink, which is Sony's name for 1394 firewire, right? [Sorry, I'm new to Sony.] What do you do with HDMI out besides connect it to an HDTV? Editing PCs don't have HDMI input jacks, right? Thanks! |

HDMI out is uncompressed Full res. 1980X1080
You would have to add a card to your desk top computer. http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/ |

I don't want to hijack this thread but I'm new to capturing via HDMI.
I'm assuming that in order to capture using HDMI that the camera needs to send the signal to the compute WHILE shooting. Is there any way to finish the shoot and then capture via HDMI or do you always capture to the computer while shooting? |

Thanks for the responses!
The brochure is for the "E" [European?] version rather than "U" for United States--does anyone know what differences there will be? |
